From the hills of Piedmont in northern Italy comes this soft, velvety cheese made from a unique blend of cow's milk, goat's milk and sheep's milk. The three milks together give La Tur its distinctive character: creamier than pure goat's cheese, more complex than pure cow's milk, and with a subtle sweetness from the sheep's milk.
The texture is soft and almost mousse-like, with a thin rind enclosing a creamy, oozy center. The flavor is mild, approachable and elegant, with layers that slowly unfold. Served at room temperature, La Tur is irresistible. This is the cheese you bring when you want to impress at a dinner party.
