Aged Cumin Gouda (sliceable)

This aged cumin cheese is a protected Noord-Hollands regional product, crafted with pride at the Lutjewinkel dairy for generations. The combination of 100% pasture milk from Noord-Holland and long aging produces a cheese with a bold, piquant flavor in which the cumin seeds have reached their full aromatic potential.

Despite the long aging, this cheese is still easy to slice, which is how it got its name. The texture is firm but not crumbly, so you can cut beautiful slices for bread or the cheese board. The cumin tastes deeper and warmer than in a younger variety, with a slightly bitter undertone that pairs beautifully with the sharp cheese.
