Mild sheep cheese

This sheep cheese is semi-mature, and you can taste it in the soft, rounded flavor. The rich sheep’s milk produces a creamy, mild cheese with a full, lightly sweet note and no sharp edges. The texture is semi-hard and supple, so the cheese slices easily and melts pleasantly on the tongue. In our own words, this is Frisian sheep cheese made from Lacaune sheep milk from Hilaard, which gives the cheese its full character.

Great cut into cubes on a charcuterie and cheese board, where it holds its own alongside bolder flavors while staying mild itself. Also lovely on a slice of bread or enjoyed straight out of hand. Because the cheese is semi-mature, it stays approachable and wonderfully versatile.
