This Jersey Vol Pikant is a Goudse cheese of the extra mature type, made from the creamy milk of Jersey cows. That milk is naturally a little fuller and richer, and you can taste it: the cheese has a bold, spicy flavor with depth, built up over a long aging process. The texture is semi-hard, with the slightly drier, crumbly bite you’d expect from a well-aged cheese.
