Flinketaler

Flinketaler is a Dutch holey cheese with a nod to Switzerland. The supple, semi-hard cheese has the large holes you’d expect from this style, and the flavor is gently nutty. As a semi-mature cheese, it has just enough aging to develop some body without turning sharp. The texture slices smoothly and cleanly.

This Tynjetaler cheese is made from cow’s milk and has a 50+ fat content. Cut it into cubes for a charcuterie and cheese board, or layer a slice on a sandwich. A pleasant, approachable cheese that stands out for its holes and its mild, nutty character.
